As with Breakfast in America, this other, early experiment in the Dancing with Architecture series was rendered and documented, but also destroyed. Again, it was felt that the abstraction of figurative, narrative forms didn’t go far enough away from the source material, nor did the process capture the essence (or irony) of the album depicted. This painting was recycled; the canvas was scrubbed and re-used, and the painting resultant from it is one of the collective’s favorites in this series (the Beastie Boys tribute, License to Ill).
